Elegant Danish arc floor lamp dating from the 1940s, combining natural materials with a graceful sculptural form.
The lamp features a tall, sweeping curved stem wrapped in paper cord, rising from a substantial turned oak base. Its organic silhouette gives the piece a light and elegant appearance while retaining a strong decorative presence.
The large conical wicker shade is finely woven and allows the light to filter gently through the open structure, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. The combination of oak, paper cord and wicker gives the lamp a distinctly Scandinavian character, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, natural materials and understated design.
The electrical wiring has been renewed for safe contemporary use. The original switch has been replaced with a practical floor switch.
