First held in 1977, the Marion Bermuda Race is a biennial 645-nautical-mile offshore race from Marion, Massachusetts to Bermuda. Founded to celebrate the Corinthian spirit of amateur sailing, the race welcomes owner-skippered cruising yachts and family crews rather than professional racing teams. It has become one of the Atlantic's most respected offshore events.
