This piece perfectly illustrates the workshop's early style: a squat, globular body topped with a flared, trumpet-shaped neck, in amber and olive green tones traversed by broad, swirling bands of dark brown, achieved by incorporating metallic oxides into the molten glass.

As each Mdina piece is shaped and decorated by hand, no two are exactly alike—the interplay of colors and the inclusions of air bubbles inherent to hand-blown glass contribute to the charm and authenticity of this production.

Signed on the base (characteristic "Mdina" signature, etched/acid-etched).
