If you have the space for an understated statement, this monumental (100" L) coffee table will certainly make it for you. The table was custom designed and construction overseen by Gray Organschi Architecture (New Haven, CT) for a very special Manhattan living space. There is a Japanese influence to the joinery and execution of the piece that reminds one of George Nakashima, but which is entirely original and distinct. The wood is exquisite and the piece is genuinely jaw dropping (if jaw dropping can be subtle) in person. It is the type of piece that one appreciates just a little more every time one sees it.
