Colorful signed M. Funke studio pottery plate dated 2005, featuring a striking Southwestern-inspired geometric design in turquoise blue, vivid orange, black, white and cobalt accents.
The slightly curved square ceramic form centers on a stylized feather or leaf motif surrounded by intricate geometric decoration. Raised dot and linear details add wonderful texture and dimension to the design.
The bold turquoise and orange palette gives this piece a distinctive Southwestern, folk art and eclectic artisan aesthetic. Beautiful displayed on a shelf, plate stand, gallery wall, or incorporated into a colorful pottery collection.
