A wonderfully whimsical vintage carved wood crane sculpture with an exaggerated long neck, slender legs and oversized carved feet. Hand carved with wonderful feather detailing and finished in a distressed creamy white with warm coral and terracotta tones showing throughout.
The tall, sculptural form gives this guy plenty of personality and makes him a fabulous decorative accent for an Old Florida, coastal or tropical interior. We especially love the naturally aged and distressed finish—he looks right at home tucked among rattan and bamboo.
The piece shows age and wear throughout, including losses and chips to the painted finish, surface wear, cracks/separations and areas of previous repair. We have intentionally left him exactly as found. These imperfections are part of his vintage character and are shown in the photographs.
