This is a gorgeous and authentic antique Victor Victrola Orthophonic Credenza cabinet, circa 1925, corresponding to the celebrated VV 8-30 / 8-30X Credenza model produced by the Victor Talking Machine Company of Camden, New Jersey.
The substantial walnut cabinet features beautifully figured paneled doors, carved floral corner blocks, architectural molding, brass hardware, turned bun feet with casters, and the original Victrola “His Master’s Voice” decal beneath the hinged top.
The original phonograph mechanism and related internal components are no longer present, leaving the cabinet particularly well suited for repurposing as a record cabinet, bar, media cabinet, or distinctive antique storage piece. Interior shelving has been added/modified for storage. Retains excellent visual presence and the unmistakable design of one of Victor’s most desirable Orthophonic-era cabinet styles.
