Description:
Presenting a magnificent and heavy-weight matching pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vases. Crafted on solid copper bodies with intricate hand-wired filigree (掐丝), they feature the iconic, highly auspicious "Dragon and Phoenix" (龙凤呈祥) motif.

The vases are set against a striking, bright imperial yellow ground, densely decorated with swirling, multi-colored ruyi clouds and vibrant flames. One vase features a majestic, blue-scaled dragon reaching for a flaming pearl, while the other depicts a vibrant, multi-colored phoenix in flight.

The vases have an elegant, slender elongated neck that flares out into a wide mouth, resting on a bulbous lower body. They are accented with polished gilt bronze rims and bases. The bottoms are fully enameled in yellow and bear cast gilt bronze square seals reading "乾隆年制" (Made in the Qianlong Period), a traditional reverence mark.

Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and intact with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The gilt bronze rims and bases show a bright, natural patina. Both vases are included in this listing. Please refer to all photos for exact condition. See less
