Description:
Presenting a truly monumental and exceptionally heavy (13.67 lbs) vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vase (Zun). Crafted on a thick solid copper body with intricate hand-wired filigree (掐丝), this piece features the highly auspicious "Deer, Crane, and Pine" motif, symbolizing longevity, prosperity, and peace.
The most striking feature is the pair of prominent, patinated bronze Deer Head handles flanking the neck, featuring gracefully sculpted antlers. The vase is set against a beautiful, pale sky-blue ground, densely decorated with swirling, multi-colored ruyi clouds. The main body depicts a majestic white crane standing on a colorful scholar's rock, accompanied by a rust-red deer running through a landscape of pine branches, orange chrysanthemums, and mountains.
The base is fully enameled in turquoise with scrolling vines and floral motifs, and bears a copper square seal with a traditional mark. The mouth rim is finished with a polished bronze band.
Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and intact with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The bronze deer heads show a natural, aged patina and are completely intact with no bent antlers. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
