Each … Read more A decorative pair of American gilt carved side or end tables dating to the late 1970s or early 1980s. Each table features an ornate gilt-finished base supporting a round reverse-painted mirrored top with colorful floral and Rococo-style decoration.

The combination of gilded carved bases, mirrored surfaces, and hand-painted decorative motifs gives the pair a distinctive Hollywood Regency character with an eclectic Bohemian influence. Elegant yet highly decorative, these tables would work beautifully as matching end tables, bedside tables, or accent pieces.

Each table retains a J.B. Van Sciver Co. label beneath the top. The tables date to approximately the late 1970s to early 1980s.

Condition:
Good vintage condition overall with typical wear consistent with age and use. There are some cracks to the bases, along with crazing and slight imperfections to the mirrored tops. Despite these age-related characteristics, the pair presents very well and is generally in great condition. Please refer closely to the photographs for additional condition details.
