Description:
Presenting a magnificent and incredibly heavy (15.87 lbs for the pair) set of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vases. These vases feature a classic, elegant silhouette with a dramatically flaring trumpet neck and a bulbous, elongated body.

The vases are deeply decorated in a striking deep cobalt blue ground, densely filled with intricate, hand-wired light blue and white scrolling vines and floral motifs. The shoulders are flanked by prominent, patinated bronze beast head handles. The main bodies feature spectacular, prominent yellow-ground cartouches enclosing detailed, serene scenes of black and white cranes resting beneath willow trees by a flowing stream—a classic Chinese symbol of longevity and peace.

The shoulders and base bands are accented with striking green cabochon stones set into enameled flower centers, surrounded by red, blue, and white geometric and floral borders. The bases are fully enameled with a deep blue ground and red flowers, bearing cast bronze square seals reading "乾隆年制" (Made in the Qianlong Period), a traditional reverence mark.

Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and intact with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The bronze beast handles show a natural, aged oxidation patina. All green stones are securely in place. Please refer to all photos for exact condition. See less
