Each … Read more A handsome set of three vintage industrial barrister bookcases or display cabinets constructed of steel with large glass-front doors. Each individual cabinet stacks to create a tall, architectural storage piece, with the three sections resting on an integrated steel base with squared legs.

Each compartment features a glass-front door that lifts upward and retracts into the cabinet, allowing the entire interior to remain easily accessible. Simple round metal pulls and clean, utilitarian lines give the piece a classic industrial and Machine Age character.

The three generously proportioned compartments provide excellent storage and display space for books, ceramics, art objects, collectibles, or merchandise. The modular stacked construction and understated design also make this an appealing choice for a loft, library, office, gallery, retail environment, or an industrial-inspired residential interior.

The cabinets have been repainted at some point in their history in a warm cream/off-white color. The paintwork was not professionally executed and shows imperfections, uneven areas, scuffs, marks, and other signs of use. Despite this, the overall presentation remains attractive and quite presentable as-is. The finish could also be restored or professionally repainted if desired.
