A substantial vintage Arts & Crafts style hand-carved wood picture frame, featuring a rich dark brown finish and contrasting natural linen liner.
The wide real wood frame is beautifully decorated with deeply carved repeating geometric and stylized foliate motifs, giving it the handcrafted character associated with Arts & Crafts design. The dark stained wood, visible grain, bold carving and warm natural linen liner create a handsome, architectural look with plenty of texture and depth.
Measuring approximately 28" W x 33" H overall, this generously sized frame would be especially striking surrounding an oil painting, portrait, landscape or print. Its warm, earthy palette and handcrafted appearance make it particularly well suited to Arts & Crafts, Craftsman, traditional, rustic and collected interiors.
