An exquisite late 19th to early 20th-century German fine porcelain bouillon/cream soup set decorated by the master artisans at the Richard Klemm studio in Dresden, Germany. This highly collectible four-piece presentation set is beautifully hand-painted in the traditional Rococo-revival style, featuring vibrant polychrome "Deutsche Blumen" floral bouquets including irises, peonies, and wild tulips over a brilliant white porcelain body.
The set is lavishly accented with heavy, hand-applied gold gilt scrollwork, sawtooth tracking, and highly intricate leaf flourishes along the scalloped edges. A true rarity, the set includes the original matching dome lid adorned with a beautifully molded Rococo scroll finial handle. The two-handled footed cup rests seamlessly on its dedicated saucer, which stacks onto a matching scalloped salad/underplate.
The base bears the authentic underglaze blue Richard Klemm Crown over "RK" Dresden studio mark, alongside hand-inked iron-red pattern catalog numbers 4783/556.
Production era ran from 1891-1914.
