Measuring 51 × 37 × 3 cm, this generously sized tray features a richly detailed silver-plated openwork gallery decorated with Rococo-inspired scrolls, floral motifs and foliate ornamentation. The warm-toned walnut center creates a striking contrast with the luminous silver-plated frame, while integrated oval handles provide both elegance and functionality.

The piece is clearly hallmarked, confirming its Hooijkaas origin. It was produced in Schoonhoven, Netherlands, historically known as the silver capital of the Netherlands and renowned for its long tradition of fine Dutch silver craftsmanship.
