Mould-blown in a clear grass green that lightens toward the foot, the four square faces are worked with vertical rifts and a frost-bitten surface that rises like flame from the base. Green is markedly scarcer in this series than the amber and clear colourways, and it does something the others cannot: lit
from behind, the whole block turns to chartreuse and throws green across the surface it stands on.

The foot sits in a collar gilded in 24-carat gold by Heimo-Koru Oy of Turku, worked in a dense pattern drawn from Finnish textile weaves. The original "Kultaus 24 Karaattia" gilding label is still in place, and the vase is signed on the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
