This is a pair of antique Thai lacquered and gilt bronze figural table lamps, depicting Teppanom guardian angels. Each figure is shown in a kneeling position with hands pressed together in a traditional greeting and prayer gesture, adorned with intricate gilt detailing on their attire and headdresses. The figures are mounted on dark wooden bases, providing a stable foundation. These lamps are accompanied by custom-fitted pagoda-style shades in red fabric with gold ribbon accents, complementing the traditional aesthetic of the figures. Dating to approximately C1920, these lamps exemplify traditional Thai artistry and would serve as distinctive decorative lighting.
