Rendered in classic Copenhagen blue and white, each plate features a beautifully detailed maternal scene in soft tonal relief. The set includes the 1971 “Good Night” Third Edition, designed by Grethe Stage, depicting a mother tending to her baby in a bassinet, and the 1972 “Mother’s Love” Second Edition, designed by Nille Puggaard, depicting a mother holding her young child surrounded by tulips.

Both plates retain their original Desirée Denmark backstamps and identifying edition and designer information. Integrated holes on the reverse allow the plates to be easily displayed as wall décor without additional plate hangers.

A lovely pair for a Scandinavian-inspired interior, blue-and-white collection, gallery wall, nursery, or vintage porcelain collection. Their consecutive dates make them especially attractive displayed together. See less
