The round top of this pedestal side table is an antique wooden cart wheel, repurposed from an early 20th century wagon or farm cart. Rich with character, the wheel is textured by deep grooves that follow the grain pattern and marked with imperfections that hint at its previous use. In the spirit of wabi-sabi, the wheel has been lovingly mended with an inlaid dovetail joint. The round top is elevated by a tapered pedestal base, hand-carved with a rhythmic, chiseled texture.
