This antique Chinese offering table stands out for its grand scale, sculptural shape and vibrant finish of marigold-orange lacquer. Dated to the 1920s, the long table has a classic, recessed-leg design, crafted of pine with a floating-panel top, straight legs linked with double stretchers, and hand-carved accents.
The curved apron is carved with a beaded edge and botanical flourishes, while the legs borrow the cusped shape of traditional long-handled broadswords. The surface is brushed with glossy orange lacquer, applied atop the well-worn original finish for renewed vibrancy and a one-of-a-kind crackle.
