Wonderful Rug from the 1960s from the city of Kerman (also known as Kirman). Wonderful floral pattern in light blue, cream, pink, white, blue, beige and red shades. Good condition with slight traces of use.
Features:
- Kerman rug
- Hand knotted
- about 160,000 knots per m2
- Age 50-60 years
- 100% pure new wool
All our rugs are cleaned in a professional rug laundry. The first step of cleaning consists of thorough beating of the rug to remove dust and mites, if any. The following pre-wash with a PH neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the rug is washed by hand thoroughly - a special soap is gentle on the fibers and preserves the rug's natural wool grease. Machine pressing and spinning are used for initial dewatering, after which the rugs are hung to dry in permanent circulating air.
