Description:
Presenting an absolutely spectacular, heavy, and highly decorative matching pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vases.
Set against a striking, vibrant apple-green ground, the vases are densely decorated with intricate hand-wired filigree and multi-colored floral scrolls. The main body features the highly auspicious "Crane and Pine" (松鹤延年) motif, depicting graceful cranes in flight among pine branches and swirling clouds—a classic Chinese symbol of longevity, peace, and high status.
The most striking feature is the elaborate, fully sculpted gilt bronze dragon handles (ears) flanking the necks, meticulously detailed with intricate openwork and chasing. The necks and bases are accented with bright gilt bronze bands and deep blue floral borders. The bottoms are fully enameled in green and bear cast gilt square seals reading "大清乾隆年制" (Made in the Great Ming/Qianlong Period), a traditional reverence mark.
Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and intact with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. All gilt details are bright and well-preserved with a natural aged patina. The dragon handles are completely intact with no damage. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
