Description:
Presenting a magnificent vintage Chinese collection set. This offering includes a stunning deep cobalt blue cloisonné enamel vase housed within a gorgeous antique-style red lacquer presentation box.
The Vase: Crafted on a solid copper body with intricate hand-wired filigree (掐丝), the vase is decorated with the highly auspicious "Crane and Longevity" (云鹤延年) motif. Graceful cranes in flight are interspersed with swirling, multi-colored ruyi clouds and a large, stylized red Shou (Longevity) character on the body. The base is cast bronze with a square seal.
The Presentation Box: The vase is carefully fitted inside a substantial, antique-style red lacquer box. The box is decorated with dynamic, painted dragons chasing flaming pearls in blues, greens, and gold. It is accented with heavy brass studs and a round metal lock plate, lending it a historic, Imperial aesthetic.
Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel on the vase is vibrant with no visible missing pieces, chips, or cracks. The lacquer box has minor surface wear, slight scuffs, and natural age-related patina to the brass hardware, which adds to its character. Please refer to all photos for full details.
