This is a beautiful vintage Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vase, featuring the classic and joyous "Hundred Children" motif.
The vase has an elegant, elongated neck and a rounded body. The main body is painted with a lively scene of many children playing in a traditional Chinese garden, surrounded by pavilions, rocks, and plants. The children are depicted wearing brightly colored robes (pinks, greens, blues, and reds), engaged in various activities such as painting and playing. This motif traditionally symbolizes "abundant descendants and prosperity".
The neck and shoulder of the vase are adorned with intricate painted borders, including a stylized yellow "Fu" (Blessing) medallion.
This vase is a perfect decorative accent for a living room, console table, or bookshelf. Its playful and colorful design brings a sense of joy and vibrant Chinoiserie elegance to any interior space. A true collector's piece and a wonderful gift.
