This is a magnificent pair of vintage Chinese porcelain vases, beautifully decorated in the classic "Blue and White with Underglaze Red" style.
The vases feature a classic, rounded baluster (lantern) shape. The surface is adorned with a continuous landscape painting depicting towering mountains, swirling clouds, and pine trees in cobalt blue (Qinghua). Nestled within the landscape is a traditional Chinese pavilion, highlighted with brilliant copper-red (Youlihong) details on the columns and windows, adding a striking pop of color against the blue and white background.
