Striking vintage interpretation of a 19th-century Sinumbra/Astral lamp, featuring a fluted dark bronze/brass-tone column on a white marble stepped base. A brass-tone gallery supports hanging clear faceted crystal prisms, topped by a frosted white glass hurricane-style shade with delicate etched floral detailing. Neoclassical, Empire, and Hollywood Regency in style. Likely a mid-to-late 20th-century revival, rather than a 19th-century original. No maker’s mark visible. U.L. Listed; accepts a Type-A bulb up to 150W. Approx. 23"H x 5"W x 8"D.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related patina/tarnish and surface wear; crystal prisms appear somewhat irregular in arrangement.
