This intriguing piece is a signed Richard Marshall studio pottery Woo creature. Woo Creatures, according to lore, are believed to bring peace and good fortune to those fortunate enough to catch one.
This particular sculpture has a hole at the back, suggesting it would be an excellent piece to display on a wall. Could also be used as a vase. Perfect for collectors of rustic or medieval-style ceramics these creatures bear the pattern of the textured skin used in Marshall's dragon sculptures.
