Exceptional and highly desirable matched pair of French Neoclassical gueridon center or side tables executed in the elegant Louis XVI taste.

Each circular table features a thick, premium inset white Carrara marble top displaying subtle, elegant grey feather-veining. The stone slabs are beautifully framed within a tightly reeded ormolu protective rim.

The structural bases each consist of three dramatic, outward-sweeping saber legs crafted from heavy cast bronze. Each leg is anchored at the shoulder by an exquisite, high-relief ram’s head (tête de bélier) finial showcasing meticulously detailed curling horns and textured fleece. The legs plunge downward, accented by stylized acanthus leaf carvings, and terminate in elegant cloven hoof feet (pied de biche).

Adding structural integrity and additional utility, the legs support a matching lower inset circular marble tier. The supports converge dynamically at the base, joined by a sweeping tripartite stretcher and crowned at the center by a beautifully layered floral rosette medallion.

Excellent used vintage condition. Free of structural cracks, deep permanent stains, or major surface chips. Light, age-appropriate surface wear and hairline tracking inherent to natural stone. Rich, golden-bronze original finish matching perfectly between both pieces. Displays beautiful, authentic atmospheric oxidation and deeper patina pooling naturally within the crevices of the ram masks and floral medallion bases.
