Featured is a Venetian canal scene, a gondola going through the channel under the bridge, gorgeous buildings with flowers in windows and people in streets. Colors are vivid, fine quality painting executed on canvas and stretched, contained in a washed gilt (subdued gold) frame and narrow matted. Painting is signed in lower right "Lucie Anderes" a Swiss born American artist from Greenwich Connecticut, and there is also a business card on the back - please see photos. Venice Italy. Overall in good condition, shows light age / use wear if any, artificially aged gilt carved frame (please see photos). Size is great for any room at 22.5" x 16.5" overall in the frame, while the art portion is 17.55" x 11.5". This is a gorgeous work of art, that will enhance any great setting ! See less
