Add a touch of early 20th-century American craftsmanship to your inventory with this authentic antique art glass vase by the renowned Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company. Crafted in their celebrated "Screech Owl" pattern (introduced circa 1926), this exceptional piece is a prime example of their "Sculptured Glass" line designed by legendary glass artist Reuben Haley.
The vase features an elegantly molded, high-relief pattern showcasing detailed screech owls perched amidst long, vertical blades of marsh grass. The colorway features a dreamy, creamy satin custard glass base accented with hand-painted matte washes of soft sage green grass and contrasting earthy russet/tan tones highlighting the owls. The acid-etched satin finish diffuses light beautifully, emphasizing the dramatic texture and dimensional qualities of the mold.
This highly collectible line was part of Consolidated's artistic response to French Lalique and cameo art glass of the period, making it a standout addition for any serious art glass display, Art Deco curation, or rustic lodge aesthetic.
