The chest is highlighted by rich walnut construction framed in cross-banded burl walnut drawer fronts, set with solid brass batwing backplates and swing bail pulls flanked by ornamental brass escutcheons.

The top displays a perimeter inlay border encircling figure-grained veneer. Three full-width, smooth-gliding drawers feature dovetailed joinery and maple drawer interiors. The cabinet rests on a clean bracket base with subtle shaped aprons, giving it a classic Chippendale profile suitable as a bedside chest, side table, or end table. The drawer interior retains the burned-in "Aston Court by Henredon" maker’s mark.
