Its delicately curved, kidney-shaped form lends it a feminine and fluid silhouette.
The top is crowned with a deep, veined griotte marble slab, meticulously edged with an openwork brass gallery. This finely cut border adds a touch of sophistication while highlighting the inherent nobility of the stone.
The undulating front opens to reveal two drawers, each fitted with a chiseled bronze key. The drawers are adorned with brass moldings, which add rhythm to the surface and accentuate the subtle geometry of the piece. The bronze keyhole escutcheons, formed by Louis XVI knots, add a delicate and aristocratic touch, typical of neoclassical ornamentation.
The legs are embellished with finely crafted bronze mounts. The cabriole legs are finished with trim that protects and enhances the base of the piece.
