Large 15.25" Chinese Cloisonné Vase Turquoise Yellow Floral Pot Motif Vintage
Made in China c.1970s-1980s.
Approx. 15 1/4" High x 8 1/2" Diameter at Widest x 8 1/2" Deep.
Exceptional, large-format Chinese cloisonné enamel display floor vase.
Features an incredibly detailed "vase-within-a-vase" and floral pot motif housed inside a vibrant yellow cartouche (panel).
The body is finished in a brilliant turquoise blue ground covered in intricate, tightly woven wire cloud scrolls (wenlei) and scrolling floral vines.
The top rim and foot are finished in a polished gold-toned brass/bronze plating.
The base is fully enameled in matching turquoise with a beautifully executed central red and white lotus medallion, featuring a hand-inscribed workshop or inventory mark ("L6").
Excellent used vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or enamel loss. No Bruising. The delicate glass enamel surface is entirely smooth to the touch with no impact fractures.
