Oil painting on 3/4 inch oak panel of a cowboy on a rearing horse ascending a hillside in the style of Charlie Russell. Painted in Taos, New Mexico around 1992 by Satori Gregorakis. Signed in the lower right corner. Framed.
I paint in the traditional style of old masters because I am drawn to the charisma of that era. For me, creating art is a patient ritual. At the heart of my process is the careful preparation of the painting surface. Ultimately my goal is for the person viewing my work to experience a pause, a moment to reflect.
