An exceptional and rare pair of mid-century Hollywood Regency cylinder table lamps featuring an Americana-themed historical motif. These oversized statement lamps are wrapped in a continuous vintage découpage print depicting a historical Revolutionary War military map of Cambridge, Massachusetts. The graphic narrative features meticulously illustrated British Redcoats, American Continental soldiers, military tents, and local historic landmarks.
With their commanding cylindrical silhouettes and warm, antiqued patina, these lamps perfectly bridge the gap between bold mid-century design and classic Americana folk art. They make an exceptional focal point for a sophisticated study, library, or living room.
The map illustrations have achieved a stunning, naturally aged warm amber patina with a fine surface crackle under a protective lacquered finish, adding immense historic character and depth. Each cylinder sits on a classic, dark-stained turned wooden base and capped with matching dark metal accents that beautifully ground the historical parchment tones. An absolute standout pair for traditional, colonial revival, or eclectic Americana interiors.
Listing includes lamps & harps, without shades or finials.

This matching pair is in excellent working order and they show beautifully. The paper-wrapped decoupage columns are exceptionally well-preserved with no major tears, deep water stains, or missing paper sections. The historical map imagery remains crisp and vivid. As is typical with authentic mid-century lighting of this age, there is light, minor surface scuffing and a gentle vintage patina to the protective lacquer coat (see photos). The solid wood bases are structurally sound with only faint, age-appropriate wear to the finish. The wiring & sockets for both lamps were updated at in recent years (not original). Overall, a highly collectible and clean pair that beautifully showcases its mid-century heritage.
