A beautifully sculptural vintage porcelain cachepot modeled in trompe l’oeil fashion as a coiled rope basket. The glossy white ceramic is carefully worked to imitate twisted cord, complete with raised vertical bindings, substantial rope-form feet, and a broad oval rim.
