A lovely set of French style mid ladder back dining chairs with rush seats.

One could say these are in the style of designer Charlotte Perriand, with her interest in traditional craftsmanship and regional materials. The back rests on this set of 4 chairs are gently curved ladder back style.

Each chair has its original wood finish which is a light brown stain. Each rush seat is in very good condition with a heavy and thick feel. The rush is not splitting and is in original and very good condition.

The frames are tight and sturdy as intended. The original brown finish does have some rub marks from use and age which exposes a lighter almost lighter wood/peach under tone on these spots.
