An authentic 19th-century Japanese woodblock print by the legendary Meiji-era master Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839–1892). Published in June 1891, this highly collectible piece is No. 94 from his celebrated final masterpiece series, *"One Hundred Aspects of the Moon" (Tsuki no Hyakushi)*項目.
The print portrays 17th-century Kabuki actor Mizuki Tatsunosuke as an onnagata with a poem scroll under cherry blossoms by the Sumida River, bearing an authentic purple gourd-shaped seal, and is preserved in a vintage gold-leaf frame with fabric matting.
