Sculptural vintage 1970s decorative fish crafted from dark finished wood with contrasting brass fins, tail and facial details.
The oversized tropical fish form has a wonderfully graphic quality, with deeply textured brass fins contrasting against the smooth, dark wood body. Mounted on a slender metal support over a rectangular wood base, giving the fish a floating appearance.
A playful yet sophisticated piece of Mid-Century Modern decor with strong coastal, tropical and Hollywood Regency appeal. Particularly striking displayed on a console, credenza or bookshelf.
