This image features the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge (also known as the Ravenel Bridge or Cooper River Bridge) spanning the Cooper River in South Carolina.
In the background, the older cantilever truss bridges-the John P. Grace Memorial Bridge (1929) and the Silas M. Pearman Bridge (1966)— are visible before their demolition, which was completed around 2007 after the new bridge opened in 2005.
