Offered for sale is a stunning ornate antique/vintage Rococo-style tabletop mirror featuring an exceptionally elaborate gilt-finish metal frame and decorative easel-style support.
This is a striking statement piece with beautifully detailed scrolling foliage, floral motifs, pierced openwork, and an impressive central figural/ornamental crest. The mirror has an elegant rectangular beveled-looking glass panel surrounded by a highly sculptural frame, with decorative feet and an adjustable rear support.
The reverse shows the aged original finish and construction, including the long central support rod and decorative hardware. The naturally aged/patinated appearance adds character and is consistent with the antique/vintage presentation of the piece.
