Sculpted from native Mississippi clay, this large bulbous spherical vase features a narrow tapered neck and a breathtaking glossy "Nutmeg" glaze with fine organic striations and warm honey-mustard undertones.

Features the iconic McCarty river mark motif and hand-incised signature on the underside. Early 1960s pieces of this scale and glaze condition are highly collectible and rarely come to market.
