Giffard in Angers, France.

The dramatic composition depicts Cappiello's distinctive red devil-like figure perched atop a tall pedestal and drinking from a glass through an extraordinarily long straw. The brilliant red figure emerges against a dense background of deep green and cobalt-blue foliage, while oversized yellow MENTHE-PASTILLE lettering dominates the lower portion of the composition.

The lower margin bears the printed inscription "IMP. P. VERCASSON & Cie., 43, Rue de Lancry, PARIS" together with "REPRODUCTION INTERDITE." Additional printer markings associated with P. Vercasson are visible within the image.

The composition is documented as a 1905 design by Leonetto Cappiello. The original-format poster is recorded at approximately 200 × 129 cm (78.7 × 50.7 inches), making the dimensions of this example consistent with the monumental format of the period.
