This unsigned litho was produced around 1979. There was an edition of 500. at that time; however, there were additional unsigned and "hors commerce" impressions. The sheet shows some toning (left hand corner) and handling evidence (see all the pictures); the "striking" image remains bright, and dare I say "attractive." The image itself is only slightly impacted by the handling disturbances, to the right of the model.

The original was a watercolor and it sold for over $44,000 at auction.

Offered here with the catalogue/book, which includes images of all of Ramos's work. It's in excellent condition EXCEPT the page with this image has been cut out. That page has been put back in the book but it is not attached in any way. "This catalogue raisonné has sought to include all known copies of every motif, including the often-unnumbered versions that Mel, generous as he was, signed and graciously gifted to his friends, acquaintances, and admirers." - Ernst Hilger, (Hilger page 5).
