Striking pair of vintage tall bentwood étagères featuring beautifully rounded architectural frames and four tiers of open slatted shelving.
Each bookcase is constructed with gracefully curved wood/bamboo-form uprights joined by horizontal stretchers and finely spaced slatted shelves. The warm honey-brown finish highlights the natural grain, knots and variations of the material, giving the pair wonderful organic character.
The exceptionally open construction creates a light, sculptural appearance despite their substantial height. Particularly attractive when placed side-by-side as a large display wall, they can also be separated and used to flank a doorway, console, fireplace or large work of art.
