The panoramic composition depicts elegantly dressed figures gathered within a lush architectural garden landscape beneath a dark evening sky with a crescent moon. The muted palette of rose, burgundy, cream, taupe, charcoal, dusty blue and soft green gives the piece the beautifully aged appearance associated with historic European tapestries.

A close examination of the textile reveals the woven construction of the image, with numerous colored threads creating the figures, landscape and architectural details rather than a printed surface.

The tapestry is presented in an ornate giltwood-style frame whose warm, aged gold finish complements the subdued colors of the textile.
