The glass appears … Read more Sculptural vintage Mid-Century Modern art glass vase with a sleek elongated form and broad circular pedestal base. The glass appears exceptionally dark at first glance, but when held to the light reveals a rich translucent root-beer brown and amber coloration with subtle plum-purple undertones.

A slender lighter-toned glass section near the base creates a beautiful contrast with the dramatically dark body. The upper rim is finished with a subtle metallic accent, adding another distinctive detail without detracting from the vase’s streamlined modernist form.

A striking decorative piece displayed on its own or with a single stem, particularly well suited to Mid-Century Modern, contemporary, or eclectic interiors. Flowers shown not included.

The underside retains a visible pontil mark where the glass was detached from the pontil rod during production. This hand-finished detail adds character to the piece and reflects traditional glassmaking techniques.
