RARE FIND with incredible New York provenance. This stunning vintage John Widdicomb Highboy Dresser was formerly part of the furnishings of the iconic Essex House Hotel on Central Park South, Manhattan — reportedly hand-selected by the hotel’s designer for its interiors.
Crafted by prestigious American furniture maker John Widdicomb, this exceptional tall chest features rich figured wood, dramatic ebonized columns and accents, curved drawer fronts, and original-style brass ring pulls for an unmistakably sophisticated Neoclassical look.
Carefully restored while preserving its original character, craftsmanship and vintage integrity.
Even rarer, its matching John Widdicomb lowboy from the Essex House Hotel is also available, offering the opportunity to acquire the original coordinating set.
