This object is an antique Chinese polychrome porcelain figurine representing a court lady or noblewoman. It features hand-painted enameled details in styles popular during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic Period (early 20th century). It is painted with vibrant overglaze enamels featuring dense, swirling floral, geometric, and cloud patterns across the robes. She is dressed in traditional formal robes, including a stylized pink/purple shoulder cape (cloud collar) over a turquoise or light blue jacket and an ornate yellow-ground skirt.
