The upper register carries a grid of nested concentric circles, several rings deep, overlapping where they meet, and the lower register carries a scalloped arch or fan motif with radiating lines. The surface is heavily painted in white with a rust-red overlay, and a small trace of blue pigment survives along the top edge, a genuine third color from the original painted finish rather than a later addition. There's one crack running horizontally across the middle, honest age wear, structurally stable. Given its narrower proportions, this reads as a sculptural wall panel rather than an architectural door, well suited to a slim vertical wall run or displayed alongside other narrow painted panels for a layered gallery arrangement.
